Ahh! I am so excited to share this adorable Prairie Creek engagement session with yall!  Meet Paul and Shayla! Shayla emailed me about her wedding day and we noticed we had mutual friend. It has honestly felt like the Lord has placed us together and I couldn’t be more excited to serve these two on their special day! 

Their Prairie Creek Park and Deep Ellum engagements turned out beautiful!  These two were smiling ear to ear and I couldn’t stop laughing.  Paul loves doing impressions and was having fun doing Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions! He had Shayla cracking up throughout the session.

 During their Deep Ellum engagements, we called my husband at the end and Paul and Jeff were going back and forth on Facetime with doing famous people impressions. It has truly felt like we have known Paul and Shayla!  I wanted to share how these two met  and how the Lord is bringing them together into this new season as husband and wife!

These two met a mutual friend’s birthday party! They party moved to Cowboy’s Red River (which I love this because my husband and I like to two-step too).  Paul proceeded to ask Shayla to dance. Shayla says Paul was competing with another guy to dance with her and Paul definitely won 🙂 Paul and Shayla have been dating these past 6 years!  He proposed on her birthday in December!  They both went to dinner and Paul surprised her by getting down on 1 knee.  She had no idea and of course she said, “Yes!”  They couldn’t wait to share the good news with their families and friends!

Paul and Shayla will be getting marry on June 22, 2019!  Thank you Paul and Shayla for allowing me to serve yall and to capture this special season that yall are in!  I have loved getting to know yall so far and I can’t wait for yall’s wedding day!  I hope you love your engagement photos as much as I do and I can’t wait to continue to capture yall’s story! Love you both!
