Bridals

Classic Bridal Portraits at The Nest at Ruth Farms | Samantha

I love, love, love photographing bridal sessions! There is nothing more fun to me than celebrating my brides and capturing portraits that are all about them. Wedding planning can be stressful and I’m the first one to encourage you to slow down and enjoy the moment as a bride. I met with one of my CBP brides, Samantha, this October for her classic bridal portraits at the Nest at Ruth Farms. This is seriously one of my all-time favorite venues here in Texas and I’m always so excited to come back for bridal sessions!

Classic Bridal Portraits at The Nest at Ruth Farms

I love the Nest at Ruth Farms because of the natural light that’s all over the venue. It’s a perfect backdrop for bridals. Samantha’s dress was absolutely beautiful and her bouquet was just “wow”! Her bouquet is a beautiful combination of dusty rose and light pink flowers. It was seriously stunning! And her wedding gown? Oh my gosh! Samantha looks incredible in the gown – especially with all of the lace details. She brought her veil along for some of the portraits and I just love how it brought her look together. I can’t wait to see it all again on her wedding day!!!

Why You Should Do Bridal Portraits

Bridal portraits are a Southern tradition. Brides come in their wedding day look (or pretty close to it) and we capture portraits of them – focusing on all of those little details. It’s a fun day and a great chance to celebrate with your sister, mother, bridesmaids, or favorite women in your life. But, bridal portraits also serve a purpose when it comes to your wedding day timeline! By spending time on another day capturing elegant bridal portraits, we can cut out some of the photos we need on the day of your wedding. If you’re planning a shorter wedding day or an earlier ceremony, consider doing bridal portraits. There’s less we have to photograph once you’re in your dress if we’ve done it all before! Plus, bridal portraits are a great time to trial your hair and makeup one last time!

If you’re getting married this year and haven’t planned a relaxing bridal session, let’s talk – there’s still time!!
