As a family and wedding photographer here in Texas, I know that I have the distinct honor to be a part of my couples’ special moments. From wedding days to family photos for years to come, I absolutely love the chance to follow and celebrate their journeys with them. When Jennie and Joey reached out about me capturing their gender reveal for their first baby, I was SO excited. This is such an exciting moment on the road to being parents. I still remember how it felt with our first baby boy. I quickly said yes and waited anxiously for their gender reveal party! 

Gender Reveal Party in Texas

Jennie and Joey really wanted to make their gender reveal party something special for both them and their families. They decided to keep the gender a secret until the big moment. Even the two of them were going to be surprised! To make things really fun, they rented a beautiful sign from The Nest Event Rentals. It was filled up with blue and pink balloons. And they even decided to do a smoke cannon for the big announcement. With custom cookies and pastel outfits, Jennie and Joey were ready to find out their baby’s gender.

Before long, it was time for the big moment! They both popped open their cannons and… Jennie and Joey are elated to announce that they’re welcoming a baby GIRL to their family! I loved capturing their reactions and the reactions of their family and friends there, too. There’s seriously nothing as exciting as knowing your who your new baby is. Congratulations, Jennie and Joey! I adored being a part of your big, exciting news and I can’t wait to meet your sweet daughter!! You’re going to be the best parents!
