Oh my goodness! This Junior bridesmaid styled shoot with The Southern Social has to be one of the most fun things I’ve photographed in awhile! When Melissa, the owner of The Southern Social, approached me about capturing these images and she started describing the shoot, I was totally in! What’s more fun than bright colors, beautiful florals, and three sweet girls to help showcase the important role of a Junior bridesmaid?! Melissa gathered together an incredible group of vendors for this. And, with the help of Mary Kate & Co at Hidden Creek Events and we captured a playful styled shoot to highlight being a Junior Bridesmaid!
The day began with our three models getting ready. Ohsnip Hair Studio and Madam Bradley helped with hair and makeup. While they were getting the girls ready, I captured the gifts and florals the Junior bridesmaids would be receiving. It’s so fun to use special customized gifts to ask members of your bridal party to be part of the big day! With bright robes on, the girls opened their gifts and cards before preparing for the rest of the shoot.
After they were dressed, we headed outside where Vivienne and Vine had created the most stunning seating arrangement with over-the-top florals for the girls. Our Junior bridesmaids were in bright pink, green, and yellow. We all had fun capturing their looks, their flowers, and the joy of being part of a wedding day. Junior bridesmaids are a great way to include your younger female family members or friends in your wedding day and these three girls reminded us all why it’s SO much fun to have them around!
I LOVE that this Junior bridesmaids styled shoot was all about having a good time. Our three models were just perfect and made my job so easy. The bright color scheme was amazing and every little detail had been so carefully thought out. This was truly a joy!! Thank you for letting me be a part of this shoot, Melissa!
