The Nest at Ruth Farms Wedding | Sheri & Taylor

I can’t believe my brother is married!!!! As of the end of August, I have a married brother and new member of the family! Sheri and Taylor met through Bumble and realized they’d been crossing paths in the parking lots between the Dallas Police Department and Marshall’s offices. After realizing they were meant to be, Taylor proposed to Sheri on the day of her DPD graduation. He gathered everyone close to them in May for a rooftop party and popped the question. Soon after, I took their Arlington Hall at Lee Park engagement portraits and we all got even more excited to celebrate their wedding day with them! Just a few weekends ago, we officially welcomed Sheri into the family during their Nest at Ruth Farms wedding… and I couldn’t be happier for them!!!

Nest at Ruth Farms Wedding

Sheri and Taylor’s day was SO beautiful. It was a classic Dallas TX wedding at the Nest at Ruth Farms, one of my favorite venues. Since both Sheri and Taylor are police officers, they decided on a simple color scheme of ivory and navy. It popped perfectly against all of the white walls there!! Despite the 102 temperature (no, really, it was HOT), everyone was so happy to watch them tie the knot.

Sheri and Taylor decided to have a first look before their ceremony. It was SUPER emotional for them – and for me, as his sister, to watch such a special moment. Throughout the day, I found myself just full of happiness watching my brother become a husband. From their beautiful outdoor ceremony to sunset portraits before their reception, Sheri and Taylor just looked SO excited and relieved to finally be getting married.

My family is so happy for these two and just thrilled to welcome Sheri officially to the family!  It was a truly beautiful day and I’m honored I could help capture it all. Congratulations again you two!!!! We love you!
