This spring, I had the chance to capture Kaci and Robbie’s Tandy Hills engagement session (with a stop at the Kimball Art Museum). It was AMAZING – not just because of these two and the gorgeous light. But, also because I was finally able to actually hug them. This last year has been so tough, but I’m excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel and get some “normal” back in our lives… starting with beautiful engagement photos, like these!

Robbie and Kaci knew of each other through mutual friends and the occasional glance at church, but never spoke. Finally, the met officially while they were working an extend school day in 2016. Rob was a college freshman and Kaci, a high school senior. They instantly had chemistry and said it’s been that way ever since! Not long after, they began to date and now they’re planning a gorgeous Spring Events Valley View wedding day!

The Proposal

When Rob proposed, he took Kaci out for brunch beforehand. They usually went so nothing felt out of the ordinary. Afterwards, they got their dog, Kody, and headed into their truck. There, Rob blindfolded Kaci and played the song “Diamond in My Pocket”. When they arrived at their location, Robbie helped her out of the car and they stopped in the middle of the Flower Mound tree farm. Robbie had Kaci take her blindfold off and there was Robbie, on one knee! Kody even had a little collar saying “will you marry me?”. It sounds SO romantic!

Tandy Hills Engagement Session

I met up with Robbie and Kaci for their engagement portraits at The Kimball Art Museum to start. We lucked out with a truly beautiful day for their session – I couldn’t have asked for anything better! After some time around the art museum, we headed to Tandy Hills. It was such a gorgeous open space – perfect for Robbie and Kaci’s romantic spring portraits. I seriously loved EVERY moment of their engagement portraits! And I can’t wait for their wedding day!!
