Emily and Nolan’s gorgeous summer Stone Crest Venue wedding day was amazing. Despite everything going on around us, they planned a day that truly celebrated their love in a (safe) fun way! By the way, a huge shout out to Stone Crest Venue for being so incredible and ensuring everyone has a safe way to get married!!!

Emily and Nolan worked for a company called iFly. When Emily initially emailed Nolan to find out how to become an instructor, he let her know the steps but didn’t think much about it. However, they stayed in touch as she began to work towards becoming certified. When she wound up quitting later on, she messaged Nolan to tell him she’d be traveling back to Texas. They would up meeting up for dinner and Nolan said that was pretty much it for him! They began to date and now they’re married!!!!

Emily and Nolan’s wedding day was simply wonderful – full of light, happy moments and LOTS of laughter. Honestly, these two laughed and smiled all day long… and I don’t blame them!

A Classic Summer Stone Crest Venue Wedding

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Emily and Nolan were surrounded by love on their wedding day. Frankly, I absolutely love any chance I get to photograph weddings at this McKinney TX venue – and Emily and Nolan’s day was no different! Emily and Nolan truly made the most of their wedding day, despite Coronavirus causing some changes. I absolutely loved the “Love -1, Corona – 0” photo we incorporated into their wedding party portraits! It just shows you their personalities!!! And yet, despite it all, they got married and get to start a new phase of life now! It’s SO exciting!!

They planned a simple, classic wedding day with lots of romantic touches. Their bridesmaids had mixed patterns on their gowns, which looked fabulous! And the groomsmen wore simple suspenders. Emily’s wedding gown was a wonderful mix of classic and modern inspiration and she looked simply incredible!! With a first look and outdoor ceremony, we had lots of time to explore the grounds here!
