Congratulations, Ali and Cory! They had an elegant summer Ashton Gardens wedding day in Corinth, TX and I’m so excited to be sharing it with you today. Everything felt so romantic – with pastel blue and orange details, lots of gorgeous portraits in the Texas sun, and a day full of family and friends. Ali and Cory are the sweetest people and they truly deserved every moment of this special day! Ashton Gardens is such a beautiful spot here in Texas for weddings. I’m so happy we had the chance to explore and capture their day here!

Their Love Story

Ali and Cory met in college in 2016 in a taxi on the way to a bar, when Cory was visiting Tuscaloosa from Auburn. Cory sat near Ali and asked for her number, but they didn’t see each other again for a week. Instead, they spent lots of time talking on the phone – not getting enough of each other. The following weekend, Ali and Cory went cliff jumping at Lake Nicol on our first official date! They spent the day with their friends Lindsey and Quinton (who I got to meet at the wedding!). At the time, they both realized they’d been struggling spiritually and they believe that God gave them each other for strength and to strengthen their bond with Him.

They’ve now been together for 6 years and have grown together in so many ways. I know they’re going to have a beautiful, strong life together that’s rooted in faith and their love for each other. I’m so happy I got to know Ali through other brides of mine and that she asked me to be at her big day. Ali just graduated from med school and has been placed in residency in TN. They decided to tie the knot here in Texas with their family and friends before they begin their new journey in Tennessee. I think this Ashton Gardens wedding day was the perfect way to kickstart their married life!!
