Congratulations to the newest CBP newlyweds, Megan and David! They planned a romantic wedding at The Barn at Stoney Creek in New York. We had a great time traveling up to New York to photograph this rustic wedding day. Their entire day felt intimate and so full of love – it was absolutely perfect! One of my favorite parts was that for their ceremony, they only wanted their immediate family to be part of the actual ceremony. I LOVED it. It was perfect, quiet and quaint for Megan and David as they said “I do.” 

Their Love Story 

Megan and David met at work almost 6 years ago! They were both finally singled up and Megan made the first move… it took David a little bit to catch on! But, they began to build their relationship. On Christmas day in 2020, David proposed! He wrapped box inside box inside box saying it was a gift for the both of us and Megan thought upon she was getting an Instant Pot when she opened the first box. But as the boxes got smaller, she finally figured out what was happening. David proposed with her grandma’s engagement ring. It was SO sweet! 

I absolutely adore Megan and David. Megan is actually a photographer, too, and found me through a group online. I was so happy she asked me and trusted me to capture her big day. Every wedding day is special, but photographing another photographer’s day is always so meaningful to me.
