Courtney and David are married!!! Their elegant Hidden Pines Highland Village wedding was SO beautiful and was the perfect way to spend a fall day here in Dallas. After their Dallas Arboretum engagement session, I was excited to see them both again – and to capture the day they so carefully planned together!
One of the things I love most is when my couples who plan fall weddings go with a “less” traditional fall color scheme. Instead of lots of reds and oranges, Courtney and David chose a truly gorgeous scheme of sky blue, charcoal, gold, and light pink. It created a beautiful atmosphere for their day and I seriously was obsessed with all of their details!!
The day began with Courtney getting ready with her girls. She and David decided to skip a first look together, but she did have one with her dad! It was SO sweet. We were able to photograph her and the bridesmaids in the chapel before their ceremony, which was awesome!! I love being able to spend more time in the venues my couples have so carefully chosen.
After an emotional ceremony, I got Courtney and David all to myself! You could see from their smiles alone how happy they were to officially be husband and wife! We spent time just enjoying the sunset and exploring some of the property before their reception. Newlywed portraits might honestly be my favorite part of the day because it’s so quiet and romantic! With a private last dance and bubble exit to end the night, Courtney and David’s wedding was seriously dreamy from start to finish! Enjoy some of my favorite moments from their big day!
