Courtney and David are getting married!! To celebrate their engagement, we had a beautiful summer Dallas Arboretum engagement session. These almost newlyweds met 7 years ago at Fish City Grill where David was a bartender and Courtney was starting as a hostess. Although they weren’t necessarily high school sweethearts, David accompanied Courtney to her senior prom… Then, they became college sweethearts! Courtney and David stayed together through college and graduate school at UNT, too. And then, before long, their lives changed forever!
David took Courtney on a (presumably normal, in her words) date night to American Airlines Center, where they had their first date. Since they both love documenting their concerts, David had a stranger take their photo. But, this quickly turned out to be NO ordinary date night. While their photo was being taken, David dropped to one knee and asked Courtney to marry him. And now, after 7 years of adventures, they’re getting married!!
We met up at the Dallas Arboretum for their engagement photos. It was a lovely evening together – celebrating and getting to know Courtney and David even better. I loved watching the two of them! It’s obvious they love each other very much and I know their wedding day will be filled with the same love. We explored all of the Arboretum as the sun set and they even braved one of the pools of water!! It was a great way to end their first outfit choice. After drying off, we moved into a different section of the Dallas Arboretum. Honestly, I love the arboretum because there’s just SO much variety here. It’s easy to get multiple looks for my couple’s galleries with a location like this.
I can’t wait to see Courtney and David again for their wedding day! I know it’s going to be just beautiful!!! Congratulations, you two!
