Oak + Ivy Wedding in Aubrey TX | Samantha & Gavin

Samantha and Gavin are married!! Their Oak + Ivy wedding day in Aubrey, TX was simply gorgeous and I’m so happy I got to be there with them! After I photographed Samantha’s bridal portraits at Oak + Ivy, I just couldn’t wait to go back for their wedding day. Now that it’s come and gone, I’m thrilled to be reliving it by sharing it with you! The entire day was just so full of joy and romance – congratulations again, Samantha and Gavin!!!

Gavin and Samantha met during their sophomore year of high school. Throughout the rest of their time in high school, they saw each other but weren’t really close friends. Despite that, Gavin always made a point to wave hello and smile at Samantha in the big halls. A few years later, during their time at Texas Tech, they ran into each other again. It was nice to see a familiar face there! As they say, the rest is history – and now 7 years, they’re husband and wife!

Oak + Ivy Wedding

First off, one of my favorite things about this wedding day was their color scheme! They stuck with dusty rose, some greenery and gold details – it looked stunning against Oak + Ivy’s white walls. It was the perfect classic spring color palette for Samantha and Gavin! With Gavin’s blue suit, everything came together so well. And my other favorite part of the day was their first look! Watching Samantha and Gavin meet up for the first time was just so emotional!!! They couldn’t wait to hug and were so excited about their big day.

Honestly, the entire day was a dream come true and I’m SO happy for these two! Samantha and Gavin, thank you for trusting me with your beautiful wedding day! I wish you nothing but the best!
