So many brides are inspired by The Notebook and other incredible romantic movies, but not every couple gets to have a dream wedding day that’s a lot like what Allie and Noah’s might have been. But, Amanda and Billy did! They had a gorgeous summer wedding at Boone Hall Plantation, right in Charleston SC. I had the honor of helping to capture their sweet summer wedding! Boone Hall was the spot that the movie used as Allie’s summer home in the Notebook, so I mean it when I say: this truly was a movie worthy wedding day! 

Southern Boone Hall Wedding Day 

Amanda and Billy are actually from Denver, CO but they always knew they wanted a destination wedding. When they began to look for ideas, Amanda kept going back to The Notebook. She absolutely loves the movie! From there, inspiration struck. Why not plan a romantic southern wedding day at Boone Hall? And that’s just what they did! 

Everything about their wedding day was picture perfect. From the elegant details to Amanda’s beautiful off-the-shoulder gown and Billy’s tan suit… it all came together beautifully at Boone Hall. There’s seriously nothing like wedding portraits under the Spanish moss and by those big gates! Amanda and Billy planned an outdoor ceremony under the oak trees to say “I do” before spending the night celebrating with their family and friends along the water. It was truly a fairy tale wedding day!
