As an expecting mama again (for the fourth and last time!), maternity sessions are extra meaningful to me right now. When Lauren and Steven reached out to me about maternity photos, I was ecstatic. They were married last fall and will be celebrating their first anniversary this fall with their new baby boy’s arrival! I am so glad we did to capture this special season they are in with this Murrell Park maternity session! 

Summer Murrell Park Maternity Session

We met up at one of my favorite parks here in Dallas, Murrell Park, for their portraits. Lauren looked incredible – even with the Texas heat! She chose a gorgeous and simple green dress to wear. Steven complimented her easy look with this own – a simple button down and tan slacks. Lauren decided to have Tease to Please do her hair and make up, which is something I always recommend for sessions. You want to look and feel your best! 

It was the perfect look for these summer portraits. It was so hot the day of their session – but the light was absolutely perfect for their portraits. We had an extra glow to all of our images and I couldn’t be more thankful that Lauren and Steven are such good sports!! They put up with me and the heat splendidly as we captured this special moment for them both. 

While we created their images, we talked all about how excited they are to be parents to Baby Brooks. I know he’s going to have two of the best parents in the world!! I am so, so excited for this sweet CBP couple and I can’t wait to meet Baby Brooks! Congratulations again, Laruen and Steven!
