Romantic Summer Wedding at The Grand Ivory | Taylor & Andrew
Taylor and Andrew tied the knot this summer at the beautiful Grand Ivory in Dallas, TX and I’m so thrilled to be sharing it with you today! The newlyweds have known each other since 5th grade, so to say this day was a long time coming is an understatement. After dating while they were at Baylor, they made things official on a trip to Fort Worth and began planning this beautiful day not long after. Although it was a hot summer day, their wedding day went off without a hitch and I couldn’t be happier for Tayor and Andrew.

Before everything got started, Taylor and Andrew were able to relax with their wedding party. When I walked in to start photographing the details and the ladies, the bridesmaids were making an Instagram Reel and just having a great time! That’s what wedding days should be like. One of the things I loved about Taylor’s morning was that she took the time with her mother and sister to get into her beautiful lace wedding gown before she had a first look with her dad. It was SO sweet – and those moments always pull at my heart strings.
Taylor and Andrew opted to not do a first look and instead, met for the first time at the aisle during their ceremony. Andrew’s reaction to seeing Taylor as a bride for the first time was overwhelming in the best way possible. He was just so blown away and full of emotions. It was incredible! I loved watching them just be so in the moment together as they exchanged vows. And you could tell they were beyond happy as they walked back up the aisle, hand in hand.
Sunset Wedding Portraits
I managed to sneak them away for some portraits at sunset, and I’m so happy I did! They’re some of my favorite moments from the whole day. I love portrait time because it’s one of the few times my couples get to be (mostly) alone – sorry, I wind up being the third wheel… but it’s the moment when everything just sinks in. They’re married. It’s official! Taylor and Andrew were just so, so happy together in those moments.
After a beautiful reception with lots of dancing and laughter from their guests, Taylor and Andrew bid goodnight with a sparkler exit. It was truly the perfect ending to a perfect day. Congratulations, Taylor and Andrew! I wish you nothing but a life of happiness together!!
