If you know anything about me, you know how much I LOVE Charleston! When I had the opportunity to join Get Intrigued for a styled shoot on Folly Beach, I was just thrilled! This styled shoot did NOT disappoint and I loved the chance to capture all of these beautiful details – all on the beach!! I’m still so inspired by this Folly Beach wedding day and I can’t wait for you to see it.

Folly Beach Wedding Day 

The one thing I really loved about this wedding styled shoot was the details. Everything was a light grey, gold, dusty blue, and ivory color palette. It was absolutely perfect against the beach the day we were there. It didn’t feel like it was competing for the natural light and beauty, but simply added to it. The reception setting was gorgeous – and definitely inspired me to want to photograph more beach weddings. 

Our incredible models looked stunning, too! I loved our groom’s light blue suit and attire. It was a nice pop of color, but not overwhelming. Another great idea that someone totally needs to incorporate for their wedding day! We had a beautiful floral display to pose our couple with – and again, it didn’t compete with the surroundings, but simply added to it. I think that’s truly the key for beach celebrations – let the beach be your venue, and just add what’s needed to enhance it.
