Meet Halley and Beau! Their gorgeous Kimball Art and Tandy Hills engagement session was a dream come true. We had the most perfect light – and explored one of my favorite spots in Dallas. It was just gorgeous! I loved gettin the chance to talk with Halley and Beau more, to learn more about their wedding plans and love story. I can’t wait for you to see these sweet portraits today!

Their Love Story

Halley and Beau met at ACU their freshman year, but they didn’t become friends until they were sophomores. After a year of friendship, they realized it was time for something more. During their junior year, they began dating – and the rest is history! Before they knew it, Beau was ready to propose. Beau told Halley that they’d be taking Christmas photos with his family, but it turned out to be a rouse! He was down on one knee, proposing to Halley. She obviously said yes and now they’re planning their dream wedding day together!

Tandy Hills Engagement Session

For Halley and Beau’s engagement session, we decided on two different locations in Dallas: the Kimball Art Museum and Tandy Hills. Honestly, these are some of my favorite places for portraits in the area. I love the architecture at the museum and the gardens, too. They’re both stunning and provide seriously gorgeous backdrops for my couples. I’ve also really taken a liking to ending sessions at Tandy Hills. This open space provides a beautiful backdrop for sunset portraits. Halley and Beau looked amazing in both locations – and I loved watching them laugh and enjoy the evening together. It’s seriously why I love my job!
