Kelsey and Stephen’s sunrise engagement session at Kimball Art Museum was such a joy to photograph. The Kimball Art Museum is one of my favorite places to capture engagement sessions in Fort Worth because it’s just full of so many gorgeous spots!

Kelsey and Stephen met in 2015 while they were attending the University at Arkansas. While Kelsey and her roommate were hosting a football watch party at their apartment, Stephen walked in with her roommate’s boyfriend. A few weeks after that, Kelsey and Stephen went on their first official date. They quickly realized they have a lot in common and began spending more and more time together. And now, they’re getting married!

Sunrise Engagement Session at Kimball Art Museum

When Kelsey and Stephen agreed to do a sunrise session with me, I was SO excited!! I love how quiet everything is – even if it means an early morning for all of us. They were such good sports and explored the property with me. Between the steps, the gardens, and more of the grounds, we had plenty of beautiful spots for their engagement portraits. Kelsey and Stephen brought both a casual and dressier outfit, plus some fun school shirts. I LOVE when my couples bring something that’s so personal to their session. It makes everything so much more fun. I loved ending their session with them laughing and just enjoying their time together. Wedding planning is SO stressful – having time to laugh and just be together is important for couples!
