Ashley and Lee are simply the sweetest! We met late last year for their engagement session in Murrell Park and I just adored getting to know them. They met way back in 8th grade (more on that in a minute) and just have the best connection. Watching them laugh together during our portraits was a blast. I love watching my couples just BE in love. It’s so special to me. I can’t wait you to see their beautiful session at one of my favorite parks around Little Elm!!

Their Love Story

These two met while they were in middle school. Ashley grew up in Little Elm and Lee moved into the area in 8th grade. Before long, they wound up in the same group of friends at school. In July of 2014, they were dropped off at the mall and in the middle of Dick’s Sporting Goods, Lee asked Ashley to be his girlfriend. Despite the hilarious choice of store, the decision stuck. Ashley and Lee stayed together through high school and a long-distance college relationship. In October 2021, Lee asked Ashley to marry him. Now, they’re planning their May wedding and can’t wait to be husband and wife!

Engagement Session at Murrell Park

We met up at Murrell Park for their engagement portraits. Ashley and Lee began the session in a more casual outfit choice, which turned out to be a great way for them to relax and get used to being in front of the camera. We enjoyed the beautiful light and explored a bit together before an outfit change. As the sun began to set, we headed towards the waterfront were Ashley and Lee snuggled up together for the rest of our time together. It was perfect!!
