Late November weddings in Texas can be a hit or a miss with weather! But, Maggie’s and Brett’s timeless and classic wedding turned out beautifully! Maggie and I were looking ahead of the weather, rain was scheduled all week and on their wedding day! When it came the day of their wedding day, the sun was shining and the temperatures were perfect! The light was magical at The Grand Ivory and the view from the ceremony overlooking the pond was beautiful! Honesty, this will forever be one of my favorite portrait locations and venue. I left Brett and Maggi’s day knowing that I was in love with their first look and portraits!
The bridal suite filled with Maggie’s best friends and some very important family members singing and dancing ready to celebrate . They were all laughing and so excited to celebrate Maggie and Brett! We headed outside before Maggie got into her dress, onto the nice and cozy farmhouse swing to take some candids in their adorable shirts. The guys and Brett were tucked away in their grooms cottage playing pool and laughing with one another!
Maggie and Brett’s first look was intimate and filled with tears of joy! During their first look, I was able to see the love these two had for each other during their vow reading to one another. These two couldn’t have been any happier to marry one another!
The grounds at The Grand Ivory were muddy and wet, but their husband and wife portraits are some of my favorites! They trusted me with location and going outside down by the archway to capture their portraits! I took them into their ceremony where it was emptied and just them! They took these last few minutes by themselves to enjoy and have time as husband and wife together!
Their reception was filled with 250 close family and friends that came to celebrate with them!Atsssi Uptown Sound had the entire guests on their feet all night long! One thing was special, is Maggie’s family loves to dance and have a good time! During Maggie and her dad’s first dance, her brother and mom joined them on the dance floor! As a family, they choreography a dance routine that had everyone laughing and up on their feet! You could tell, this family loved one another and loved celebrating! Their exit was 12th man towels for Aggies and tortilla toss for Texas Tech!
Brett and Maggie, Congratulations!!!!!! I couldn’t be more excited for you two!!! I am so excited to have serve yall and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for yall next! Enjoy your wedding day from my perspective! You can also check out their engagement session from Prairie Creek too!
